Life Requires Time, Energy, and Space…
The short days and dark skies of winter are slowly giving way to the long days, blue skies and warmth of spring and summer. And, more light means more time and more energy.
So, how will you use your extra time and energy this year? Are you missing the one key element you need to pursue your passion? Are you missing space?
Do you hear yourself saying, “I really wanted to do some woodworking this summer, but the garage is such a mess. There just isn’t any room,” or, “I wish I could finish that quilt I started two years ago – before the sewing room turned into a storage room,” or, “Maybe someday I’ll have the space I need to (fill in the blank).”
Life thrives on time, energy, and space. Give a plant breathing room, nourish it and watch it grow. The same is true of people – with one glaring exception. When plants expand beyond their physical environment, they must be transplanted or die. When people expand beyond their living environment, they simply try to ignore it. They stop doing the things they love; they block the clutter from their vision; and, they all too often end up living lackluster lives in homes filled with “stuff.”
Take the time this spring and summer to make space in your life to be you. Make this your year to bloom. It is never too late to live a full life.
