Office
Problem: This 10’ x 10’ space is trying to serve too many purposes. The oak desk is too large for the room and is only being used as a working and stacking surface. A high-backed computer station blocks light from the window. Lack of light, combined with dark walls, makes the room appear even smaller.

Solution: Existing furniture is removed. The room is re-painted in a soft yellow. The oak desk is replaced by a large wrap-around countertop. A rolling file cabinet is stored under the counter, the computer screen fits neatly into the corner, and the printer is placed under the now clearly-visible window. The end result is a highly-functional and far more inviting office space.
